What is iRent2u?

iRent2u, the Online Rental Marketplace, is the one place to rent or lend anything online. iRent2u is where everyone can get more from what they already have. Users can either lend their assets to make money, or borrow from others to save money. Rentals are the most efficient way to fill temporary needs, yet renters often face obstacles. Items can be hard to find, over priced and inconveniently located. iRent2u solves this problem.

How do I rent?

In order to rent you must be a registered user (Registration Page) and logged on (Login Page) to iRent2u. Once logged on there are two ways to locate the items you need. From the iRent2u Home Page or the Rent Tab you can search for items by Category, Location, or perform an Advanced Search.

What can I rent?

You can rent anything on iRent2u.com. From small items such as a drill or a bicycle, to large items such as leer jets and yachts! If someone rents it, you'll find it on our site. In fact, you will probably find things that you had never before thought to rent, such as textbooks and jewelry. And if you don't see it yet, request it! Someone else has what you need, and they will be happy to help.

Why lend?

Help your neighbors, help yourself, and help the environment all at the same time. Through lending you can make money while your neighbors save money, and reduces the amount of things purchased which reduces pollution. Instead of thinking why lend, the real question is why not! Nobody is getting any benefit from all the stuff sitting in your garage , least of all you. Lend it out, you'll feel better, get paid, and maybe make some new friends as well.

What does it cost to list an item on iRent2u?

Lenders can list their items on iRent2u for FREE. Please, visit our Item Listing Wizard to get started listing items. We charge a 5% transaction fee on the total transaction amount, plus $1 service fee, only on successful transactions.

What forms of payments can a Lender accept?

If the Lender has a PayPal account, the Lender can accept online through iRent2u all payment types supported by PayPal. Otherwise, the Lender can offer offline payments, including cash, check or cashier's check

What forms of payments does iRent2u accept?

When accepting Lender payments, iRent2u accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

What are Favorite Searches?

Favorite Searches are similar to the Browse or Search pages except that it delivers the results into your iRent2u inbox, these results are updated as new items are listed on iRent2u. This is a great feature to stay up to date on certain types of items and will allow yo to be one of the first to know about new items. Favorite Searches can be created by either browsing a category or conducting a search, and then clicking the 'Make this a Favorite Search' link at the bottom of the page. Each search can be named and shows you the last viewed date and the number of new items since last being viewed. Your favorite searches are accessed through My Rent.

How do I use the 'Browse' RSS Feed?

The 'Browse' RSS feed is similar to the Browse or Search pages except that it delivers the results in a RSS Feed that is updated as new items are listed on iRent2u. To create a feed, use the Browse and Search pages to create the search parameters and then save the RSS Feed by using the RSS link at the bottom of each page.
